Yes indeed. Taj Mahal, included presently as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, is legendary worldwide as that monument of love a man had dedicated to his late woman. However, the Taj also goes beyond one man s love for his woman and this perspective. It is perhaps one of the most unbeatable and unchallenged monumental wonder that the Mughals precisely Shah Jahan had gifted to India and to the world later. The marble architecture s every single corner, every single arch, every negligible detail has been chiselled out painstakingly and with precision - a fact that still lies as a testimony to this very day, unhindered. Taj Mahal, the white marble wonder definitely serves as a monument of architectural awe and splendour than just being typecasted into any single domain.

The architecture of Taj Mahal is considered as the finest specimen of Mughal style of architecture. The architecture of Taj Mahal is highly inspired from different styles of architecture, which includes Persian, Indian and Turkish. Considered as a world heritage monument and one of the wonders of the world, The main object of focus of the Taj Mahal is the rounded dome. The massive dome done in white marble is a truly marvelous piece of architecture. The base of the Taj Mahal has four minarets in each corner. The minarets are brilliantly designed, as they are an essential part of any Muslim structure. Each minaret is built in such a way that it slants a bit towards the outer edge of the whole construction. This was done so as to prevent any kind of damage to the monument in case of an earthquake. The minarets are beautifully carved with intricate designs and had semi precious gems studded at one point of time.
