Udayshanker with his bold choreographing while unifying Man and Machine and the Rhythm of Life further brought a new era in Indian classical dance style.Contemporary problems were ideally depicted amidst his creation. that was the gestation of a new dance form where the classic style of folk, classical and even foreign were ideally unified. Hence began a new theme which was later carried further Mamata Shankar, Sadhana Bose and others.
