Well, it is definitely a great gift of internet. Now, various companies are offering their products online. EBay, rediff shopping, futurebazaar.com, naaptol.com, homeshop18.com, shopping.indiatimes.com, indiaplaza.com etc are good examples of such online shopping providers. But, sometimes it becomes risky too. As I have a personal bad experience of buying a pair of watch from indiatimes shopping. One of them even did not work after one week and the other stopped after two months. So, we have to be very alert while checking their offers and warranty rules. Moreover, another negative side of this online shopping is sometimes they take almost one week of time to deliver the product and it becomes time consuming whereas we can purchase the same product from a shop within one hour time. There is also shipping charge applicable in some sites. So, a consumer needs to check out pros and cons of this online shopping and then go for it.

In this age of busy schedule, people hardly get enough time to go for shopping or buy gift from malls or nearby market. Urban Indians have become very net savvy and online shopping sites are taking benefit of it. Starting from the Middle class, all people now carry credit cards and debit cards. So, it is also a positive aspect to make online shopping popular. Moreover, these sites provide images of the gift items and their features with exact cost. So, there is no question of getting fooled.
