Patańjali`s Yoga is one of the six schools of the Hindu Philosophy. The sūtras illustrates the earliest citation to the term Ashtanga Yoga which means the eight limbs of yoga. They are yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana and samadhi.
