Dates during Pregnancy is another a really good option to include in a pregnant women s diet... unless specified by your doctor it is absolutely safe even healthy to eat dates during pregnancy. Just remember the key is to not eat too much of any food. A high consumption of fruits means a high consumption of sugar. Balance your diet to ensure that it is constituted of at least 2 portions of fruits per day 5 portions of vegetables lean meats non-fat dairy products and whole grains.

Many women dont get enough iron in their diet. On top of that women lose a lot of this important mineral during menstruation. Boost your intake by eating iron-rich foods such as lean red meat dark poultry lentils spinach almonds and iron-fortified cereals.
