Chamba is a mountainous district with an altitude of 2000 to 21000 feet. Chamba offers its tourists snow-capped mountains valleys gorges rivers meadows lakes monasteries and temples. Raja Sahil Varma founded Chamba in 920 AD who named it after Champavati his daughter. Chamba is known for extraordinary temples miniatures and handicraft.

Chamba - A beautiful place for tourism. Destination Covered - Rishikesh - Narendra Nagar - Chamba Description - Chamba a place located at mountains beautiful view of tehri. I have visited there once i don t remember properly but i have stated my journey from rishikes via narendra nagar hindorakhal jakhdidhar. this was my tehri trip with my friends. Thanks by this post i remembered my past days.

Yes Chamba is in Himachal Pradesh. Akhand Chandi Palace is one of the famous palace of Chamba. It has an attractive architecture and a distinct green roof.
