Interesting to know this. As they do not have chlorophyll so obviously they depend on other plants for energy and are parasitic.

It is also known as Indian pipe or corpse plant. The plant is usually white but sometimes may feature black flecks and a pale pink coloration.

Ghost plants are so called because of the greyish white and pale look of the plant. These plants have colour changing abilities. Ghost plants have thick leaves that hold excess moisture so the plant can withstand periods without rain. The plant flowers occasionally in spring to summer with airy little yellow blooms.
