Oyilattam is a folk dance of Tamil Nadu, specifically of Madurai region. It is performed during village festivals and depicts events from Ramayana and Mahabharata.

Hi Drishti, Oyilattam was considered then as a ritual and so women were not allowed to participate for its public nature.
