Movies are a fantastic medium to promote the tourism of a particular place. Through this medium we receive entertainment as well as get to know about different places. For example, the Bollywood film `3 Idiots` showed amazing views of Ladakh.

Well Amrita, I think that this idea of promoting tourism through Bollywood movies is an old concept. Films like `Kashmir ki Kali` showcasing the beauty of Kashmir and `Aradhana` displayed the majestic weather of Darjeeling.
