There is an age-old adage about marriage being a union of not just two people but of two families. Indian wedding games were designed to ease the couple into each others company with a little bit of teasing and a whole lot of laughter from both families. I want to know that what kind of games are played in different cultures of Indian wedding?

Juti Chupai is a very famous game in Indian wedding. The groom`s shoes are hidden by the bride`s sisters and friends. They only return the shoes when the groom pays what they demand for the shoes.

The game of `Finding the ring` is commonly played among almost all cultures in India. This game is played by the bride and groom. Normally a bowl full of milk and rose petals is prepared and the wedding rings are put in along with other small metallic objects in order to confuse the players. The bride and groom are meant to put their hands into the mixture together and search for the rings by using only one hand. Whoever finds the rings first is the winner. According to rituals it is believed that whoever finds both the rings first will have the upper hand in the marriage for life if both find one ring each it is believed that there will be a sense of balance in understanding and decision making between the married couple.
