According to Hindu scriptures Chaturthi Tithi belongs to Lord Ganesha. The Chaturthi after Amavasya or new moon during Shukla Paksha is known as Vinayaka Chaturthi. This Tithi comes in every month and is celebrated as Vinayaka Chaturthi. Guys if you have any other information regarding Vinayak Chaturthi then please provide some.

Vinayaka Chaturthi falls on the bright half of the lunar month. Vinayaka Chaturthi is celebrated during Shukla Paksha. It is also popular as Varada Vinayaka Chaturthi. Since `Varada` means boon it is strongly believed that a devotee is blessed with the boon of fulfillment of desires on Vinayaka Chaturthi. The most popular Tithi during the Shukla Paksha is celebrated as `Ganesh Chaturthi`.

Vinayak is the other name of Lord Ganesh. Then what is the difference between Vinayak Chaturthi and Ganesh Chaturthi? Isn`t this the same Ganesh Chaturthi that we celebrate?

No Anamika. It`s not same as the Ganesh Chaturthi, but Lord Ganesha is worshipped in this puja.
