Calcutta Polo Club is considered as the 2nd oldest polo club in the world and the oldest in India. In Calcutta polo has always enjoyed the patronage of royalty. The names of illustrious figures such as the Maharaja of Burdwan, the Maharaja of Cooch Behar and the Nizam of Hyderabad and more recently the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Sultan of Brunei appear on the list of stalwarts of the Club and of the sport. Guys please share some other facts too.

It is the second oldest polo club of India and it provides advanced professional training in polo to aspiring professionals and amateurs. But the players need to keep their own horse in the stables or they need to book the horses.
