Seven Stones is a traditional Indian game which was very popular some 30 years back. It appears to be a simple game but is very complex. It is unfortunate that the new generation kids do not even know about this game!!!

This game doe not need any expensive items. All you want is a ball, 7 stones which can be stacked up one above another, minimum 2 players in each team and a play ground. Procedure: Form 2 teams with equal number in each side. Make a circle on the ground and place 7 stones one above the other. Mark a point 8 feet from the stones and draw a line. Team A and B decides who throws stone first, either toss or mutual understanding. Say Team A starts the game with throwing the Ball to hit at the stacked seven stones. And a person from Team B stands in a position to catch the ball. The Game: Team A shall hit the stack with the ball and scatter the stones. And also try to put them back as a stack. Team B shall avoid by catching the ball and hitting the Team A members on their legs with the ball. They shall not hold the ball for more than 50 sec. Either they throw the ball and try to hit the team A members or pass on to their Team B members who is nearer to another Team A player so that that Team B player can hit Team A player below knees.
