Solah Shringar is the sixteen adornments of an Indian bride, which contribute to her complete beautification. Wedding has always been a fantasy for every girl. What are the Solah Shringars in an Indian Wedding and why is it a mandatory practice for all the to-be brides?

According to Hindu mythology, `sixteen shringars` correspond to the sixteen phases of the moon which in turn is connected with a woman`s menstrual cycle. Solah Shringar is said to nullify the negative effect of that cycle.
