It`s a trend in Bollywood now that life of gangsters and corrupted police officers are held in immense popularity and even portrayed as heroes in life. Is this the realm of the rising number of crimes in this country? Movies like `Sarkar`, `Bombay Velvet`, `Once Upon a Time in Mumbai` speaks in glorifying crime.

Aman, In a whole it depends upon mentality of each and every person individually and what they take it in mind to which extent, that`s why the films are rated by sensor board.. & as far as the Film-makers are concern it is upon them what they does...

I don`t think bollywood movies are glorifying Criminals and gangsters. Film is complete entertainment art form. Bollywood cannot be blamed for a fascination for gangster films. `Satya` is a film on gangsters but it is one of the finest Bollywood films ever made because it tells its story very compellingly and not because it deals with crime. The Projection matters.
