Bomdila Monastery is also known as Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Ling Monastery. It is a beautiful tourist attraction amidst nature in Arunachal Pradesh to seek peace.

Bomdila offers to the tourist panoramic view of the awesome Himalayan terrain with its snow-covered mountains. It is famous for its apple orchids and travellers can take a walk through them. It also has a couple of Buddhist monasteries or gompas. The area around Bomdila has a number of trekking and hiking trails that attracts the adventure seeker.

This monastery is believed to be exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery which is located at Tsona in South Tibet.
