I wonder whether the statement made by Sheena Batra is true as I see that nowadays the jewelry mostly worn by our ladies are either made out of plastic or other alloys except for their antique designs.

Maniam PS, you might have missed out to read the full topic. I guess Sheena Batra has used the proverb `Old is Gold` to describe about the old designs of jewelleries which are now being used in jewelleries made out of materials that you mentioned.
