Acidity refers to the excess secretion of acid by the gastric glands of the stomach. The stomach secrets hydrochloric acid that is responsible for proper functioning of the digestive system. This acid further secretes various digestive enzymes like pepsin that break the food particles for easy digestion. A normal level of acid is required in the stomach for proper digestion of the complex foods. When there is less secretion of acid the food is not digested properly and in case of excess secretion it gives rise to a condition known as acidity. Sucking a piece of clove will give relief from acidity. Consumption of milk and milk products is beneficial during acidity. Intake of fresh mint juice daily is the best home remedy for acidity. Taking a mixture of two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and two teaspoons of honey in a glass of water before meals, will reduce the chances of acidity and is another good home remedy for acidity. Another effective acidity cure is to boil cumin seeds in a glass of water and drink it with meals. Intake of spicy foods, fried foods and pickles should be avoided. Unripe foods with high pectin content should also be avoided. The fruits like watermelon, banana and cucumber also reduce acidity and is good natural remedy for acidity. One of the effective home remedies for acidity is Herbal tea containing spearmint pudina and liquorice mulethi is also beneficial instead of normal tea, coffee and other aerated drinks. Drinking water in the early morning controls acidity, as water is a good neutralizer for acid. This is one of the effective acidity treatment. Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise is an old and highly beneficial phrase. This good habit will prevent and control acidity. A good Home Remedies for Acidity is to take two teaspoonfuls of white vinegar along with your meals. This will help in proper food digestion and will also control the Acidity that occurs in your stomach. Frequent use of medicines like aspirin or disprin should be avoided. A good acidity remedy is to Suck 10 grams of jaggery after meals will prevent acid formation. Drinking cabbage juice daily also prevents acidity. Raw salad of vegetables like onion, radish should be avoided. This is not a good diet for acidity. It s always better to have the dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed. A good natural remedy for acidity is to Drink coconut water 3-4 times a day also prevents acidity. Eating yogurt will provide immediate relief from acidity. This is one of the effective home remedies for acidity. Drinking a glass of water with a teaspoon of soda is also beneficial and is good home remedy for acidity. Intake of 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar also provides best acidity treatment. Ginger is a spice well known for its gastrointestinal complaints. Take a small piece of ginger and convert it into pulp and add to this an equal amount of coriander. Mix both of them properly. Eat this as this is one of the good Home Remedies for Acidity.

Acidity can be a result of improper dietary regimen or stress. These simple remedies might provide relief: Raw garlic intake after food is good. A sherbet made with kokum and cumin seeds reduces acidity. Eat 3-4 almonds during heartburns. To a glass of water, squeeze the juice of a lemon with a teaspoon of sugar. Drugs are only good for treating the symptoms of any condition, not for curing that condition. The side effects of prescription drugs, alone, are enough to discount their use entirely. Home Remedies for Acidity include the following steps- After all three meals, take a small piece of jaggery and keep it in your mouth and suck. Voil no more acidity. Boil one cup of water. To this add 1 tsp of Aniseed Saunf . Cover and leave overnight. Strain the water in the morning, add 1 tsp of honey. When this is taken 3 times a day it prevents acidity. To 1 liters of water add 1 tsp Caraway seeds shah jeera . Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Sip while warm. Have the concoction 2-3 times a day for 5-6 days. Powder one clove and one cardamom use the powder as a mouth freshener after every meal. No more acidity and no more bad breath. It is essential to keep the food that you eat as alkaline as possible. Learn to cook meals that are easy to digest and have low acidity. Food like pasta primavera, baked chicken breasts on mushroom caps and saut ed white fish with mashed potatoes are all easy to prepare and delicious. Try to avoid those foods which you know trigger acid reflux until you have healed your irritated esophagus. There are many things that cause problems for those who have GERD otherwise known as acid reflux . There are some things you can t eat, and some that you should. There are times when this can be very confusing, and many don t want to rely on medications to make all foods tolerable. If you want a home remedy for acid reflux, there are things you can try. One of these things is drinking herbal teas. Some of them will help, and some might make matters worse, so you should know which to have and which to avoid. When choosing herbal teas, there is one important thing to think about when you are choosing what you want to try. Caffeine is a known trigger for acid reflux, and it should be avoided. That means that any herbal teas that you try must be caffeine-free. Though you can get decaffeinated coffee to drink, even that is known to aggravate GERD and should be avoided. This makes decaffeinated herbal teas the best choice when you seek a hot and soothing drink. Some of them might even help with some of your symptoms of acid reflux. Many suggest that ginger can help sooth acid reflux symptoms, and if you can find it in a tea, a cup after a meal might help your stomach settle down for the night. You can mix peppermint with aniseed and lavender for a great tasting and soothing blend. You should boil a few cups of water and a teaspoon of your herbal mix, then drain the herbs after sitting for about ten minutes. If you boil this tea and want to have it sweetened, you might try honey instead of sugar or artificial sweetener. Chicory Root can also be used to make a great herbal tea. You boil a few cups of this and then let sit for a while. You can then drink the tea with honey if you wish. Marshmallow tea might also help. This is not tea made from the marshmallows in your cupboard as the name might suggest, but from a root by the same name. This is known to soothe the digestive system. Another popular type of tea is Chamomile. This is also known to help soothe the symptoms of acid reflux. You can make many of these on your own, but you can also find them in natural food stores or special sections of your grocery store. Any of these teas might help you feel better, but you won t know until you try them. However, it is important that you talk with your doctor before you try them, as some can have side effects that you need to know about, and they might also mix badly with any prescription drugs that you might be taking for your acid reflux or for any other reason. You usually will not have any problems with this type of home remedy for acid reflux, but you don t want to take a chance with your health.

Firstly you need to cool your system so stay clear of spicy foods. Eat a lot of cooling foods like yogurt and non citrus fruits like bananas. -Drink green tea. The herbs in the tea will sooth the burning sensation that you are experiencing. -Placing a clove in your mouth and chewing on it works as well. If the spicy taste of it is not to your liking then you can brew your tea with a few cloves in it and drink it at room temperature. -If you experience the acidity in the morning before you eat anything then drink 1 glass of warm water with a dash of honey and lemon in it. The honey will relieve the burning sensation and the water will flush out the toxins in your body. -Coconut water has a few curative powers in this situation as well. The natural cooling properties of the coconut will reduce the possibilities of ulcers forming. -If you are prone to acidity then dairy products are the best for you. Drink a glass of milk first thing in the morning everyday. -Water is your best friend. Keep a bottle close to you through out the day and drink a few sips every few minutes. The water will flush out your stomach of all unwanted foods and bacteria. Stay away from fizzy colas as they will cause an increasing burning sensation.

If you can do the gunjal . It is very good for the acidity. In the morning without having anything try to take 5 glass of warm water and put some salt in it . Drink it , if possible increase your water glass till you have a vomitting sensation. Even if it is not coming automatically put two fingures in your mouth and the end of the tongue part and take the whole water out till the saliva starts coming and do every alternative and then see the result in a weeks time.
