Kamasutra written by Vatsayana in 18th century is the oldest existing textbook of erotic love. But i feel it is more about the art of living in the then India. Do you agree?

The Kamasutra or Aphorisms on Love by Vatsyayana contain about one thousand two hundred and fifty slokas or verses, which are divided into parts, parts into chapters, and chapters into paragraphs. The whole discourse consists of seven parts, thirty-six chapters, and sixty-four paragraphs. Chapter I: This chapter tells about the four goals of life and also the different aspects of these chapters of Kamasutra. Chapter II: This chapter mainly emphasizes on the observation of the three worldly attainments of Virtue, Wealth and Love that is on the acquisition of Dharma, Artha and Kama. Chapter III: This chapter deals with the sixty-four arts, which are the essence of human life and their studies. Chapter IV: This chapter throws light on the activities of a family man like the arrangements of a house, and household furniture and also the daily life of a citizen, his companions, amusements, etc. Chapter V: This chapter tells about the classes of women fit and unfit for sexual union with the citizen and also of friends and messengers. So we can easily say that its just not a book on aphrodisiac element but a theory of life explaining the art of living
