A holiday trip to Trivandrum district of Kerala is incomplete without exploring the mouthwatering foods of the city and Food Festivals in Trivandrum are the best place to taste some of the most delicious delicacies of southern India. The Food Festival in Trivandrum is observed during the second week of February. It is one of the most celebrated festivals of this part of India. Chefs from all parts of India come here to take part in this festival. Specialised chefs from all states line their stalls offering the best delicacy of their region. The Food Festival is observed for seven consecutive days. One can taste the traditional cuisines of India from its every region from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The national Food Festival in Trivandrum is known as Flavor . Some of the best traditional cuisine of Kerala is also served here. The chefs and the stall boys dress in the tradition way of the region they are representing. One can even get an opportunity to interact with these chefs and get to know more about the traditional ways of cooking that is practiced in India.

I remember once I visited this festival with my family and had Kozhi Peralan, Naimeen Molee Sear Fish , Pazhampori, Duck Roast and Nadan Kozhi Curry. They were just lip smacking, can you add some more popular food preparations of Trivandrum? if possible, their recipes too....
