It has been a long time since the Indian Constitution was made. With time the needs and the situations around us have undergone sea changes. Do you think Indian Constitution needs to be updated to keep pace with the changing circumstances?

Yes, i think that the Indian Constitution needs to amended at times, instead of just inserting a rule of law, that most of the common man hardly gets to comprehend in everyday life. When the Constitution had come into force on January 26, 1950, the scenario was much different, with India still in its nascent stage, the country reeling under the Independence and Partition. However, with gradual passing of time, sophistication, refinement, development has brought in further complications and convoluted state of affairs in the country. The rather simple clauses that were implemented by the makers of the Constitution, do not hold mostly in contemporary times. Several of the political, insurgency, militancy, religious, brotherhood, women s rights as well as those of educational implementations needs to be upgraded according to me. The country has stayed witness to most significant metamorphoses since the 1990s, both in the sectors of good and bad. As such, in order to severely act upon and deliver to the Indian citizens a strict regimen, which might be known to every man, the Indian Constitution must be amended with the swift pace of circumstances.
