The Indian Hockey team has recently won the Azlan Shah Hockey tournament in Malaysia after a long gap of 13 years. The Indian team comprehensively defeated the hosts, Malaysia by 3-1 in the Final and clinched the title. The Indian Skipper, Sandeep Singh led the team from front by scoring 6 goals out of India s total 12 goals in the tournament. He was also declared as the Player of the tournament. Do you think that this is a big step to bring back the lost glory of Indian Hockey? Can we depend on the young brigade that has just won such a prestigious tournament like Azlan Shah?

Yes, indeed its a great moment for the Team Players and Indian Hockey. We must understand that all sports are equal and Government and corporates should find out the ways to reward the winners in each sport. Now a days we are paying much more attention on cricket. Seriously we have to think after all all players are playing to win for the country.
