The Indian Women s cricket team has recently shown a appreciable performance in the Women s World Cup in Australia. Though the team failed to reach the Final, due to an unfortunate defeat against New Zealand, they successfully beat the World Champions Australia, quite comprehensively. I just wonder, how many people know about this in India. I mean, I have not seen any big media house in India highlighting this. This is really unfortunate that while we are discussing about the domination of Cricket over all other sports in India, a major part of that particular is being neglected itself. We have so many talented Women cricketers, doing distinctly well in the international arena, however, most of us do not know even their names. Don t you think that this should not go for long? Don t you think that the Indian Women cricketers should also get their due respect and recognition?

yes they should. However i feel that it is because of the gender discrimination Indian Women cricketrs are not getting their desired recognition. We need to do something about it
