I m just wondering whether our Indian society will approve a man marrying a woman several years older than him. What is your view on this. Please also mention the pro and cons if such a marriage is to take place.

I think its time that we forget the age factor between partners and go for a liberal match. The primary factor of marriage what I feel is mental understanding and maturity if that matches difference of age does not really matter. Respect is the foremost ingredient in this kind of marriage, respect between the partners make the relationship even more beautiful.

Priyadarshini, I partially agree with u...however some disadvantages of such marriage include some biological complications while childbirth and other health problems, which are rare. The mental understanding and mentality of both the partners depend on a successful marriage.
