Gana shows the measure of compromise one would make for the other in the marriage. Rakshasa gana is ever demanding gives back nothing. He feels strange when someone expresses the need for sharing , though not sharing or adjusting himself ,asks others to make room for him and sometimes grabs it steals it to the discomfort of the other. His needs are paramount to him/her and others needs is invasion into his space.

I would disagree. Rakshasa gana indicates greater need experimenting with taboo subjects / activities. not necessarily to the discomfort of the other

We cant say that Rakshasa gana people are not good people. I think Manushya gana people can be very selfish because they have the mix nature of god and rakshasa. Manushya gana people can change their desicions every now and then but dev and rakshasa gana s people dont change their desicions once they decided to do something. One more thing about Rakshash and deva gana people is that these people never talk rudely with other people.

How does one find out to which Gana does he belong to. It would also be interesting if some one could list all the ganas and their Characteristic features here for the benefit of all members of the forum.

This is a very interesting question. My moon sign is Vishakha rakshasa but my sun sign is not Rakshasa i think it s Capricorn - Srvana . So i m not sure if the personality is a combination of different things. I think my personality is kind of shy, but very independent. I do like to do things my way, but i don t like to take anything away from everyone - i just think everyone should have at least little bit of freedom : Maybe this is what rakshasa is :

Hello I think there are two chats, one is the birth chart and the other is life chart, In my life chart I have Rakahasa Gana and in my birth chart I have Manab Gana. I think the birth chart is our past influence karma and who we can really be and the other is our present environment which makes us behave the way we do. We can change our destiny by being tolerant now that we know what our bad traits are? We are not bad really, its the environment which is not good, so this is our karma. By changing personality we change the destiny.

Misconceptions of the deva, Manushyas and Asuras gana does not indicate better than each other ... But how they are different aspects of the same truth... Dev ganas are people who mostly like the status quo and relaxed about their surroundings while Rakshas ganas are mostly people who do not conform to a status quo and like to change it. One represents order ... The other chaos. The Manushyas ganas are those who follow a path of duality. Only an uniformed idiot would say that order is good and chaos is bad ....same thing applies for Manushyas and devas. The Rakshas ganas are merely people who are different .

I have seen all the 3 ganas in my life. No one is good than other. We all are natures beauty. Mostly, we Indians believe on these things. People say that saints have described people into ganas many years ago. Can any one believe this? Might be the saint himself was deva gana and so he categorized that as best. I have seen many Deva gana people. They drink, smoke and talk bad words. Manushya gana are addicted to bad habbits. Even rakshesha gana who are thought to be selfish etc are not always bad people.
