Gone are the days when aunts and uncles would find suitable matches for their nephews and niches. In their place a host of websites have evolved that help you to find the Mr/ Mrs. Right. In fact I read an article that mentioned niche websites which are instrumental in finding suitable matches for a particular segment. For instance, if someone is over 30 or overweight or has a speech or hearing impairment, these websites help in finding them their life partners. For those who would like to get hitched these are of immense help. But personally I think it is difficult to believe complete strangers. There is every chance of getting deluded. What say?

Yes, you are right saying that it is difficult to believe complete strangers. But, here I think one has to act tactfully and practically. The matrimonial sites just help to find out someone matching your criteria. But at the end of the day, it is only the individual who has to decide whether he or she can make a cordial relation with the person or not. They can meet each other and know each other and respective families before making any commitment. So, in that way these sites come to a great help for those who cannot find a match.

I believe that in this modern era where everyone seems to be so very busy, the match making website could be of help. Prospective bride or groom could first source for their life partner in these websites and let their parents to do the fact finding on the character and other back ground details of the chosen candidate. If all goes well and both the bride and groom are in agreement, the marriage can take place making everyone happy. Anyway, the Indian match-makers are a dying breed.
