Gyms are established in almost every corner of the cities now a days. Dont u think such indoor mechanical installations have reduced the urge amidst youths to play outdoor games or strain their bodies in the field, when they can keep their body toned with such luxuries?

You are right Priyadarshini, however the scope of outdoor games have also become limited due to the tight schedule and office hours. The evenings are often convenient for the people to work in the gym than play in the fields, isnt it...??

I agree with Priyadarshini to some extent. Actually, the gyms do really hold a large section of youth to indoor activities and engage them with the luxurious exercise mechinaries. But, as we know India is a country of villages, I do not think we can say that it is causing a great harm to all young people in India. But yes, the gyms are definitely attracting a large section of urban youth and reducing their urge of playing outdoor games. However, I think the young people are still very much attracted in playing outdoor games, as they know about the ill effects of using mechanical exercising instruments.
