Bird Watching is my passion and I heard that South India is a magnificent place for bird watchers. Can anyone suggest me places for bird watching in South India?

Birds in Bandipur National Park is one of the worth seeing elements in south India. Known for its rich and varied wildlife, the Bandipur National Park also has a sizable avian population. Over 200 species some surveys estimate around 230 species of birds have already been spotted and identified in the park, enough to attract thousands of ornithologists and bird lovers to the park.

Hi all........................... the Mudumalai National Park is famous for its bird population. Over 200 species of birds belonging to 48 families have already been spotted and listed in the park, attracting thousands of ornithologists and bird lovers to the sanctuary. The list of the most commonly noticed birds in the Mudumalai National Park include the names of the Malabar Trogon, Malabar Whistling Thrush, Large Racket-Tailed Drongos, Spotted Babbler, Malabar Grey Hornbill, Hornbills, Scops Owl, Tiny-eared Owl, Black Woodpecker, Mynas, Barbets to name a few.
