Halva is easy to make .. Here you go..In a small saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil. Once sugar is dissolved, add saffron and rosewater to improve the odour and taste. You will have a syrup like texture. Remove the saucepan from heat. In a medium saucepan, heat ghee. Add sooji, raisins and cardamom powder and fry until it is very lightly golden brown in color. Constantly stir it. Add the sugar and rosewayer syrup which you have already prepared and mix rapidly to prevent lump formation. Cook over medium heat until the water gets completely absorbed. Garnish it with almond , cashew and raisins. Serve Hot
