Yes Albet...Barheipani is yet another waterfall situated on the river Budhabalanga in the Meghasan mountain of Mayurbhanj district. It is indeed the second highest waterfall in India. These picturesque falls Barehipani - 399m and Joranda - 150m situated in the core area of Simlipal National Park or the Similipal Tiger Reserve are perfectly complementary to their surroundings and are a beautiful bonus to the visitors of the sanctuary.

Hi all...............Barehipani is a picturesque waterfall situated in the core area of Simlipal National Park, in Mayurbhanj District, in Orissa. It is one of the tallest waterfalls in the country, plunging from a height of about 399 m. It is a two-tiered waterfall which appears to drop over a wide cliff ending in a murky pool below. The captivating beauty of this scintillating waterfall, untouched in its natural beauty and surroundings, is a much sought after destination for tourists. The Joranda Waterfall, situated nearby, is worth visiting. Balasore Railway Station is the nearest rail station.

Hi .....I have been to this lovely waterfall Barehipani in Orissa. It is a major tourist attraction and a large number of tourists come to visit this matchless beauty every year. Located amidst natural surroundings, the Barehipani falls allow the tourists to enjoy its appalling beauty in a calm and serene atmosphere. The tourism department of Orissa has taken special care to protect the environs in, which the waterfalls is located.
