It is my opinion that nowadays female artists in Indian films or Televisions are chosen for their looks and figure and not for their acting skills or abilities. Please comment.

It can be true in some of the cases but it is not true always. In other words now a days we rarely find any classical film with solid story like Kanoon, Mugal a azam or so. Todays film have masala mixed with humour, fighting, emotion etc.

well but i feel that female actors are pretty talented. Actors like Konkona Sen Sharma, Smriti Malhotra Irani are not chosen for their looks but are chosen because of their acting skill.
