Agriculture is the main occupation in Indian villages.. However, with the development of villages a lot many occupation has flourished in Indian villages.. Do u all agree ?

Before I agree or disagree to your statement Chetan, I wish to say that the development which were brought to the villages have in a way destroyed the Agriculture industry in the villages. Because of this new found industries in the villages, the present generation of youngsters refuse to get involved in agriculture thus creating a shortage of foodstuff in the land. If this trend continues, India has got to spend billions in importing essential food stuff.

mr.maniam i would like to differ with ur statement.....India is not spending that much amount of money as u r thinking.n i dont think that the industrialisation has affected the agricultural sector in an adverse manner...it rather aided its development....the output yield has tremendously improved with the advent of machines and new industries....conventional cropping techniques cant support the fast growing population of our country...
