Hi, I would like to know about Gurdaspur. There are a few of the sub districts and villages. Like Moga, Kalanaur, Dhariwaal and Mohali. I couldnt find villages. I have heard from my grand father that there was as big and a small river, also known at that time as a waddi nehr and choti nehr in punjabi after seperation, at this time it might have another name then this . These river or canals where famous. There is also a village from i dont know the name of that village where you can see the Hills of Shimla. Is there also a village called Chaki? Can anyone help me out with this. I m actually in search of my roots in Punjab India. thank you
