Do you believe that a favourite colour of a particular person determines his behavior and character?

I don`t think so but I strongly feel that colour affects our moods and emotions. The affect varies from person to person. Some people feel white represents union, happiness and serenity while some feel it is a sign of unhappiness.

I agree with you, Drishti. Colour affects our moods and emotions and that is why people these days are prioritizing colours so much. There are some colours which make a room appear congested while some other colours make the very room appear spacious. A spacious room gives us a positive feeling while a congested room gives us a negative feeling.

I don`t think colour psychology works. How can we judge a person on the basis of his/her choice of colours?

I don`t know about colour psychology but I heard that colour therapy works to a great extent. It is said that each colour has its own particular wavelength and energy which impact our mood.

You are absolutely right, Shruti. So again colour psychology comes here. Our feelings to some extent get influenced by colours. For example, if the paint of the interior walls of our home is in bright colours, we feel positive. According to one colour consultant, ``What colour you paint your wall isn`t just a matter of aesthetics. It`s a tool that can be leveraged to affect emotions and behavior``.
