Banjara Embroidery is practised by the Banjaras of Madhya Pradesh. The designs created by them are as per the weave of the cloth and the texture is achieved by varying colours and stitches of geometric patterns and designs. Where else in India is this style of Embroidery practised and what are the techniques employed there?

The Banjara embroidery is majorly done using a blue or a brown colored cloth which is quilted. This way the color contrast is easily decipherable and the embroidery comes out beautifully.
