Bengal is famous for its handicrafts and Dokra art is a class apart from them. It is believed that places like Bankura and Dariapur in West Bengal is famous for Dokra artisans. Can someone tell me more about this indigenous tribal craft of Bengal?

The Dokra technique is one of the earliest known methods of metal casting. This craft dates back to the pre-historic times of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro Civilisations.
