While sports like Kalari Pattu and Gilli Danda as popular as traditional Indian sports, kith kith is fading gradually. Some may not know that this game was played in ancient Indian also and is still played in other countries. This game increases physical balance and fitness and has several benefits too.

Hopscotch is also called Kith-Kith or Stapu in the Hindi, Ekka Dokka in Bengal, Chirpi in Maharashtra, Kunte bille in Karnataka, Paandi in Tamil Nadu and Tokkudu Billa in Andhra Pradesh as well as in Telangana.
