Nada Yoga is the classical term for the Yoga of Sound in Hindu tradition. It is the stream of sacred sound that embraces Hatha Yoga, the occult linguistics of Tantra. By including the non-linguistic element of music, Nada Brahmans augmented the Shabda Brahman of the Vedic tradition as well as the differentiation of energy in the chakras discovered by the Tantrics. Thorugh Nada Yoga or the ancient Yoga or Meditation of Sound, both the inaudible and the audible can be practiced. This means that all forms of earthly music, the sounds of space, and even the entire electro-magnetic spectrum of frequencies are included within this range of perception. Nada Yoga Meditation consists of two words. The word Yoga means Union with the Divine Source of All Life. As the Divine is living within All things, so it is suggested that there are many Pathways to the Divine. There are three traditional forms of chanting in Nada Yoga Meditation: mantras, kirtans, and bhajans. In short, Nada Yoga is the Path of Union with the Divine through Sound or Music. Nada Yoga The Yoga of Sound is a path of exploration of consciousness through sounds and the aim of Nada Yoga is to purify and harmonize the gross and subtle fields of body energy and bring them in alignment with their natural vibration. It is the opening of a door on the level of highest awareness. It is from that state that the transformation and healing begins in a most natural way. All the experiences of love, joy, peace, health and happiness are orchestrated by consciousness from that field of unified state, the state of Yoga. Nada Yoga Techniques: Plug the ears with the thumbs and concentrate on the internal body sounds. At first, the sounds will be faint and will progressively become louder. By listening to this sound, mind becomes internally focused and in turn increases the overall level of consciouness.

This system of the utilization of the power sound in the balancing of body is called the Nada Yoga. It is a mystic path of exploration where connsciousness is explored through sounds.
