Rose water is the leftover liquid which remains when rose petals and water are distilled together for the purpose of making rose oil. You know, the benefits and uses of rose water are as varied and numerous as the petals of rose. Mostly the rose water and rose oil are used in the cosmetic industry in manufacturing body and facial creams. More recently it has been introduced as a skin toner a so. Often people also enjoy its use in varied applications of aromatherapy also. Bathing in rose water is also beneficial as it is considered to have anti-bacterial and antiseptic properties. In the modern food industry rose water s use as an ingredient in food is also noticed. Rose water also provides the primary flavor for many sweet treats in India A teaspoon of rose water may be added to mango lassi to beat the heat of summer. Sonali, to address the second part of your question that is whether rose water improves vision or is important element for good vision i would say that few drops of rose water added in normal water and if this water is used to wash eyes .. it indeed helps in offering a cool sensation and thus helps in relieving eyestrain. However vision is improved or not i have no idea.
