Shantiniketan is a place famous for its association with Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Poush Mela is another attraction of this place that takes place during a certain month in winter. I want to know more about the origin of this fair and the way it is celebrated. Can anyone share some information?

The fair is famous for the perfect merger of different cultures and traditions. Visitors enjoy the fair and experience the rich heritage of West Bengal.
